  • What is the difference between Shredded Ball Clay and Refined Ball Clay?

    Shredded Ball Clay — Crushed and rotary-dried to control moisture and particle size. Primary composition is kaolinite with mica and quartz. High plasticity, adds flexibility to ceramics. Used for tiles, bricks, sanitary ware, and tableware.

    Refined Ball Clay — Custom-formulated to client specifications using internationally standardized mineral processing technology. Improves slip plasticity, increases green strength, and reduces defects and waste. Ideal for premium ceramics, precision sanitary ware, and technical ceramics.

    Both clays come from Mae Tan Mine, Lampang, a premium source of ball clay specifically sought by ceramic manufacturers.
